The Well Club is a women’s wellness center designed to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being through a restorative, non-clinical environment. Created in response to the growing need for spaces that encourage self-care and stress relief, the project provides women with a place to pause, reconnect, and recharge through experiences such as movement, hydrotherapy, massage, and social connection.

Grounded in research and evidence-based design, the project explores how the built environment can positively influence emotional well-being through thoughtful spatial planning, biophilic principles, and human-centered design. Warm natural materials, soft forms, abundant greenery, and carefully layered transitions between public and private spaces create an atmosphere of comfort, safety, and belonging. By challenging the institutional feel of traditional wellness facilities, The Well Club reimagines healing as a personalized journey—one that is guided by choice, flexibility, and a welcoming "home-away-from-home" experience.

The Micro Abstract was a foundational first-semester design exercise that challenged students to explore abstract form through the principles and elements of design. The objective was to select one principle and one element of design, and translate an original concept to eventually turn into a three-dimensional composition.Â
For my capstone, I revisited my original Micro Abstract feature and integrated the wave-like design, seen on the wall behind reception, viewable upon entry. This wave-like form explores horizontal planes as asymmetric lines guide from one side to another. It explores light and how the shadows reflect each wave, showcasing depth, texture, movement, and tactility. These elements manipulate psychological factors and lower cortisol levels, ultimately having a positive effect on emotional well-being
